2026 Winter Playing Fees
This 2026 winter season, we’re changing up how club fees are paid. We will be sending out a survey to all club members to see who is able to volunteer, and where you can help the club. This information will be used by the committee to get plans in place to have everything ready for you and your mates to play.
The player registration process involves two payments. One to Baseball Victoria (your player registration) and one to the Watsonia Baseball Club (your club fees).
Step 1: Baseball Victoria Registration and Payment
These are separate to your club fees and cover your insurance and registration. These fees must be paid in full before your first game.

Volunteers
Volunteers play a critical role in the running of the club. Without them, we simply wouldn’t be able to run the club. Volunteering is required for many tasks including:
- Umpiring
- Scoring
- Canteen
- Groundskeeping/working bees
- Training/mentoring lower grades/juniors
- Recycling cans/bottles
- Cleaning clubrooms
- Being a committee member
The cost of running a baseball club have increased over the past few years, however we understand that the cost of living has also increased and have tried to keep the club fees as affordable as possible. Senior fees will increase slightly this year, but we have made a decision to reward volunteers by not increasing their fees. If you are unable to volunteer yourself, you could still be eligible if someone is willing to volunteer on your behalf (eg. a parent).
Fee categories:
- Seniors (volunteer): $340
- Seniors (non-volunteer): $370 *
- Students & Juniors playing Senior baseball (volunteer): $260
- Students & Juniors playing Senior baseball (non-volunteer): $280
- Juniors: $160
- Rookie ball: $90
- Tee ball: $50
* If you find you do have the capacity to volunteer your time for the club after paying $370, we can offer a rebate to cover the difference.
When do I need to pay my fees?
BV fees: Before your first game
Club fees: Before game 4
It is super important to pay your fees on time, as it helps the club provide the facilities and resources for players and supporters. Players will be ineligible to play if fees are not paid. This will be enforced in all grades, so make sure you get them paid on time.
